I’m Besnik Novaj, and I founded Novaj Tech in January 2021. Before that, I spent more than a decade inside enterprise IT — multi-site campus networks serving 4,000+ users, 2,000+ managed devices, 30+ virtualized servers, and the kind of security and compliance work most small IT shops never touch.
When COVID reshaped how every business runs, I started looking closely at the average local business — and what I found was alarming. Everyone was a local admin on their own machine. Whole offices were running the Home edition of Windows. “Security” was the McAfee trial that came with the computer. Every password was some version of Pizza123, nobody had MFA turned on, and the only time I’d hear from someone was after they’d already been hacked.
That’s the opportunity I built Novaj Tech around: give small and mid-sized local businesses the same security and management the big enterprises run — proper identity, MFA, monitoring, patching and backup — without paying an enterprise fortune for it.
